Digital
x-ray module / Acquisition:
Taking digital
x-rays has never been easier. Simply
click “x-ray capture”
button, select a sequence of x-rays
you wish to acquire, then proceed
to take all your x-rays, without computer
interaction. When you’ve finished,
the images will appear in the desired
film mount, in the proper orientation
and are ready for viewing. Both the
series and the mount are completely
customizable. If you’re using
a phosphor plate system, the acquisition
process is also easier with CADI. |

Digital
x-ray module / Viewing and presentation:
The diagnostic
tools in CADI are usually only seen
in medical imaging software. CADI
software keeps all the raw x-ray data
when capturing x-ray images and uses
a unique Windowing tool to filter
out information that doesn’t
contribute to your diagnosis, or to
allow you several different visual
interpretations of the same x-ray.
You can then use a variety of x-ray
filtering tools that enhance diagnostic
ability. You can easily view through
a complete full mouth series, compare
bitewing history, or simultaneously
view panoramic and intra-oral x-rays
along with intra-oral camera images. |

digital camera images as a slide show;
you can view individual images on
screen, or you can print out a digital
camera exam in a preset format on
a single sheet of photo paper. Naturally,
you can use digital camera images
in conjunction with x-rays and intra-oral

Intra-oral

Intra-oral
camera module / Acquisition:
Using CADI, an
intra-oral camera exam can be completed
without interaction with the computer
keyboard and mouse. This is ideal
for hygienists, who are usually working
alone. They can take any number of
images of any tooth simply using the
CADI dual footswitch. IOC images are
then saved and automatically sorted
by tooth number into a preset mount.
By simply looking at the mount, you
can instantly see problem areas or
areas have yet to be treated. |

Intra-oral
camera module / Presentation:
The images can
be used for record keeping or case
presentations for cosmetic and restorative
cases. For example, a digital camera
full arch image can be shown in view
port 1. Then related intra-oral camera
images can be shown in another view
port. This provides patients with
a reference point for their mouth,
making explanations easier to understand.
A 3rd view port can be used for digital
x-rays if necessary. |
